Things here are going well! We transferred on tuesday, and now I am working with T1 and T3. We have 20 investigators, so its crazy, and we are trying to figure out who is ready for this gospel. On Wednesday after district meeting, I got a call from the assistant's. They told me about a trainer/trainee meeting that me and my mini are supposed to go to the next day. So apparently I'm training her? So on Thursday, we went to the meeting and found out that I will be training her for the next 2 weeks (she leaves on the 20th). We also met with Lejonora on Thursday! She is amazing. She is going to Italy tomorrow, and will be gone for about a month, but we will call her as soon as she gets back! She said she really wants to meet with us again.
On saturday, we had a baptism! The baptism was for two sisters, Denisa and Adela. They were so excited! The baptism started at 6:30, so they were supposed to be there at 6. We called them at 6 to see if they were close, and they said they had just left there house...the church is at least 30 minutes away! I was SO stressed! Everyone kept asking where they were, and we just had to keep saying that they were coming. But they came at about 6:30, ran in, changed, and ran out. The baptism ended up being fantastic, and the chapel was full of people! There were about 60 people! It was so amazing!
On Sunday, we had 5 hours of church! We went to T1 for sacrament meeting, some of the 2nd hour, and then went back to sacrament meeting for T3. But as we were waiting in the hallway for T3's sacrament meeting, the T1 Relief Society President found me. Last week, Sister Cheshire and I were supposed to teach, but they ended up combining Priesthood and RS. But she found me in the hallway yesterday, and asked if I could teach the lesson! So Sister Cenollari (my comp) went to Sacrament meeting to see the confirmation, and I went to RS for T1, and taught by myself...I was so scared! But they said it was really good! Sister Abrahamson (Senior couple) said that she didn't know what I said (she doesn't speak albanian), but she felt the Spirit. So that is a good sign:)
That is about it for this week. We get to watch general conference next week, because we have to wait for the translations to be done. But I can't wait to watch it! I love you and hope you are all doing great!
Love,
Motra Bennett
