10.19.15

So this one is going to be kind of short, but just know that I'm doing great and loving my mission!
On Friday, a bunch of the missionaries got to meet Elder Hamula and Elder Dikes from the quorum of the seventy. They are amazing! We got to hear them speak, and then do a question and answer session. It was great, and I really learned what I need to do to be a better missionary. I learned a bunch, and can't wait to apply it!
On Saturday, we played soccer with other missionaries and their members/investigators. I am not much of a soccer player, but decided to try. This guy kicked the ball, and ended up hurting another guys leg really badly! He was limping like crazy afterwards. Then the same guy kicked the ball a little later and it hit one of the elders in the head! Then, a little bit later, I was about 3 feet in front of him, he kicks the ball super hard, and it flies up and hits my wrist! I automatically felt like I was going to pass out. It hurt so bad that it made me get light headed. I had to squat down so I wouldn't pass out. I went and sat down, and I could barely move my hand. Every time I raised it, it would just drop back down. A little bit later, I looked down, and It was starting to swell. Know how you have the bone on your wrist that kind of sticks out on one side? The other side of my wrist swelled so it looked like I had that bone sticking out on the other side too! It hurt so bad that I actually started crying. It was so embarrassing. We called our mission nurse, and she told me to go to the hospital and see if it was broken. One set of elders came with us, and we were there for a couple hours. My wrist isn't broken, but I have to keep it wrapped for a few days, and ice it every day. It hurts pretty bad, but I can use it more today. It should be better in a few days.
I wish I had more for you this week, but that's about it! We didn't have as many lessons as usual, and this next week is going to be crazy too. On Tuesday, sister Cenollari leaves, and I will be getting a new companion again. It will most likely be a mini missionary again, but I'm not positive. Have a good week! Love and miss you guys!
Love,
Motra Bennett
