8.31.15

So this week, we dropped some investigators, and gained an investigator! We had to drop the Keqja family, because they weren't progressing, or trying to keep commitments. So we went to their house on Wednesday, to tell them we couldn't teach them anymore. We weren't sure how to do it, so we asked a member to come with us. He is a return missionary, and knew what we needed to say. So we started the lesson by talking about how important it is to keep commitments, then talked about how we can't meet with people that aren't keeping commitments. Neither of us wanted to tell them that we couldn't come over anymore, and Grisi (the member) could tell. So he said it for us, thank goodness :) They were sad, but we know it was the right move to make. We told them that when they were ready, the church would be there, and we would be there, but they have to make the effort. It was actually a pretty good lesson. We decided we will go over in a month and see how they are, and then again in another month.
Vera called us one morning, and told us that she had a friend that wanted to meet with us! We were so excited, and met with her the next day. She was awesome! We taught her the Restoration, and invited her to be baptized! She didn't say yes to our invitation, but she also didn't say no, so that was good! We are planning on meeting with her again tonight:)
We met with quite a few less actives this week, which was a lot of fun! I met Motra Muriza for the first time, and she was super nice. She also came to church on Sunday! We were so happy that she came! We also met with the Kapjas. We absolutely love them! They are the happiest, sweetest family ever, and we always leave their house feeling fantastic! They have come to church every week for a few weeks, and it has been great! We met with the Capi's too. They are a fun family:) We met with Motra Capi and her two daughters. Her daughters have just as much energy as she does, so it is never a boring time there. We love them! They weren't at church on Sunday, but they know the importance of going to church, and we are hoping they come soon.
Every morning, we have 30 minutes to exercise. Sister Cheshire is a lot more motivated than I am. I usually either write in my journal, or only end up doing like a 2 minute workout...or I just lay on the floor...But! One of my goals last week was to work out in the mornings, and I have been doing better! My workouts may not be very long, but soon, they will be the full 30 minutes like they are supposed to be:) Last night, Sister Cheshire and I decided to work out together. So we did the workout that I am starting to do in the mornings. We spent most of the time laughing because of how bad we were struggling. For one of the workouts, I was really struggling, and could barely do them. She sat and laughed at me, because I wasn't doing them right. It was so funny, and our laughing made the abs workout even better!  We were talking about it this morning, and we both agreed that it was definitely a bonding moment for us:) We decided that we are going to do the workout together more often for companionship bonding. I am going to miss her next transfer!
Ok, I think that's all I have for this past week! I hope everyone has a great week! Thank you for the support and prayers! I love and miss you all:)
Love,
Motra Bennett
