This week was great! We had a lot of lessons, and have a few fantastic investigators. Shpetime is doing great and should be getting baptized in a few weeks! We have been to her house twice this week, and she came to church on Sunday. She really understands why we have certain commandments in our church, which is super great. Pranvera, is so fantastic, and I love teaching her! We have been super busy, and can't meet with her every day, but she texts us sometimes asking to meet with us! She is so great, and is a great example for her fiance who is also taking the lessons. He said he sees her reading the Book of Mormon, and it makes him want to read too. She is so great! I think we may have to stop teaching Zamira. She is amazing, but doesn't keep commitments. She hasn't been coming to church, and never even gives an excuse. She also hasn't started reading the Book of Mormon yet. We decided that this week, we are going to talk to her about keeping commitments. We hope this helps us know whether she is ready or not.
We started teaching Ada last week, and she was doing great! She had a baptism, started reading the Book of Mormon, came to a baptism, and even came to church. Then after church, she told us she didn't want to get baptized anymore. She said that she couldn't commit to coming to church every week, and also she said she likes to drink wine, and can't commit to not drinking that. So she just wasn't ready. She called us last night and told us that she had read some more of the Book of Mormon, and would keep reading it. Hopefully that will lead to her knowing the truthfulness of this church. I hope she keeps reading!
On Saturday morning, we went to a baptism with Ada, then later that day, went to a baptism with Pranvera and her friend Brixhilda. I had to give a talk at that baptism and was super nervous. It ended up going pretty well, and I was pretty happy with it:)
Yesterday was interesting! We waited for Ada to come to church, and she ended up being 30 minutes late. It was raining and windy, and we looked crazy while we waited. The wind kept flipping our umbrellas inside out, and I'm sure everyone thought we were weird. We got to Sacrament Meeting after the sacrament had been passed, but got to be there for the talks, which was good. Then in third ward, we got to teach Relief Society! We talked about Doctrine & Covenants 18:10, and about remembering peoples worth. It was super good, and fun to teach.
This week was great, and I'm excited for this next week! I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving. I love and miss you all!
Love,
